History

Chhinlung Theological College is a ministry of Chhinlung Integration Society, and it was established in 2023 under the leadership of Mr. Simeon F. Neihzama. The academic program was inaugurated on 06 June 2023 with 12 B.Th. students in a rented house of Ngama Building, Bawngkawn, Aizawl, Mizoram State. For the start of CTC, Upa Dr. R. Vanlalzuava, the founder of Mission Foundation Movement (MFM), opened their rented building for CTC residency. The College was shifted to the present residency, Zemabawk South, on 4th April 2024 from the old residency, Bawngkawn. Chhinlung Theological College is an inter-denominational theological institution that upholds the fundamental beliefs of the Bible as the supreme authority in all matters of faith and practice. Its theological framework is Christ-centred and firmly rooted in the Protestant tradition, while embracing unity among believers to engage in mission and evangelism in God’s vineyard. Chhinlung Theological College is run by faith to serve as a theological training and spiritual exercise centre for the people of God, equipping and preparing individuals for the ministry of God. CTC is accredited by the National Theological Association-NTA (an Associate Member of the Asia Pacific Quality Network [APQN]) in 2024. For the benefit and privilege of CTC students, CTC has partnered with Chin Theological Seminary (USA) for the period 2025–2028. Chhinlung Theological College held its first graduation ceremony and the 2nd batch of Diploma in English Communication Skills on 22nd March 2025.
